Campaigns ...

Campaigning can be a lot more fun than it sounds and is a great way for members to get involved. This can take place in many forms, canvassing, delivering leaflets or simply spreading the word.

It is the work which we put in now that will repay us with seats at the next general election in May 2012 to keep the Conservatives in power. Also, we need to support our local politicians in all local council and district council elections so there is always lots to do!!

We campaign throughout the year so never feel that you can only volunteer over elections - anyone that wants to get involved will be welcomed with open arms whether you're an expert or have never canvassed before. We understand the first time can be daunting but we team up and support each other and before you know it your confidence will shine through :)

We are also currently planning a trip to London for our members in co-ordination with Exeter University and Exeter City Conservative Future. Whilst in London we will not only be able to have a tour round the Houses of Parliament but also get involved in the Back Boris 2012 campaign to keep Ken out and retain Boris as our Mayor of London.
