Lizzy Shepherd

I have been passionate about Politics from a young age and feel that Conservative Future is a fantastic way to get involved in local and national Politics. At age 15 I took part in a National Interschool debate in the House of Commons and met with James Duddridge MP and our Speaker John Bercow MP. This gave me a real insight into national Politics. Since then I have,

- helped to successfully elect Richard Fuller as the Member of Parliament for Bedford and Kempston
- worked with candidates during the Exeter City By-Elections of 2010
- worked alongside the candidate and agent during the Ipplepen District By-Election in 2010
- worked for Anne Marie Morris, MP for Newton Abbot, as her Campaign Assistant
- worked for Devon East Conservative Group as a Campaign Assistant, successfully gaining 8 seats
  and control of Teignbridge District Council.
- worked as the Teignbridge Referendum Agent successfully delivering a strong 'No' vote.
