The Tiverton and Honiton is a constituency of rivers and river valleys; the valley of the Exe being of outstanding beauty. Although set in a predominantly rural area, the towns of the district - Bradninch, Crediton, Cullompton, Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Tiverton - offer a diverse range of employment opportunities including textiles, engineering, food processing, animal feed manufacture, to name only a few.
Throughout the district, there are delightful and picturesque villages and hamlets and many buildings of architectural and historical interest, including (at Tiverton) the original building of Blundell's School.
East Devon contains some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of southwest England. For that reason, much of the region is classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can find a variety of coastline features in East Devon including sandy beaches in Exmouth, pebbled coast in Budleigh-Salterton, and red cliffs at Sidmouth.
The area is home to a large number of retired pensioners, and this helps to make East Devon a comfortable, quiet resort area
Exeter Constituency is predominantly city based, hosting a Cathedral and the University. The City based branch of CF has been established in conjunction with the university branch to cover the local city-base of support which we enjoy.
